Week 11: Experiencing God

It’s week 11 of my online Bible study group. Here are some of the things I took away from the eleventh week.

My Thoughts:

It’s the Sabbath once again and I’ve just finished off Unit 10. Today really made me start praying earnestly that God will lead me to the Church that He wants me to be a part of that I will be able to contribute to, and grow as an individual and with those around me.

I didn’t expect that I would find the energy to do a lesson on Sunday because I had done a night shift after Sabbath, but I’m starting to 1. not want to fall behind and 2. want to keep up with all my routines, even if they’re scattered in a different order. I know tomorrow I will get back on track because I’m going to make sure I do now. No more excuses.

I know God doesn’t make any mistakes. I also know now how important it is to continually ask how God is moving around me and what He is doing so that I don’t miss out on what He wants me to join Him in.

Another point from today’s lesson is that our personal love for Christ will be reflected in the way we treat others. I cannot love God and not love others.

I’m sad to say that it’s been over a week now since I’ve read a lesson. I think I will continue the last two weeks at my own pace and maybe make an update when I’ve completed it sharing my final thoughts.
